Cabin crew last night completed a second tranche of three five-day strikes in a argument over the airline's cost-cutting drive and reduced staffing levels on long-haul flights from Heathrow.
Another five-day walkout is due to begin tomorrow, less than a week before the football World Cup in South Africa.
Ryanair appears to be taking complete advantage of the cabin crew strike at British Airways.
Yesterday it appeared the Irish carrier flew 17 per cent more passengers in May while BA carried 11.5 per cent fewer flyers in the month compared with a year ago.
BA said the passenger fall was mostly because of the disruption caused by seven days of walkouts by cabin crew.
