AUSTRALIAN travellers are saving up to $3000 on business class tickets to some of the world's most admired destinations.
Nearly all routes have fallen by hundreds and even thousands of dollars contrasted to this time last year, an analysis by travel experts Flight Centre and Travel.com.au shows.
The maximum savings can be found on destinations such as Los Angeles, Bangkok, Phuket and Manila with fares down by around 40 per cent, meaning business class travellers can save approximately $1500 to $3000.
Flight Centre spokesman Haydn Long said even with improved economy passengers could still anticipate good deals.
“We will observe more business travellers return to the front of the plane and the availability of cheap fares,” Mr Long said.
The analysis contrasted the price of business class tickets in August 2009 with that of August 2010.
